Rolfe once had a pair of railroads, including a Chicago & North Western Railway (C&NW) secondary line and a Minneapolis & St. Louis Railway (M&StL) secondary line. Today, the former M&StL and the former C&NW west of the town are owned by Union Pacific Railroad, while the former C&NW east of the town is part of the Three Rivers Trail.
