Cedarburg once had two railroads, including a Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul & Pacific Railroad (Milwaukee Road) mainline and a mainline of the The Milwaukee Electric Railway and Light Company (TMERL). Today, the former Milwaukee Road is owned by Wisconsin & Southern Railroad, while the TMERL line is part of the Ozaukee Interurban Trail.
