Valeria once had a single Chicago Great Western Railway (CGW) mainline, now abandoned. The right-of-way has since been reused as part of the Chicaqua Valley Trail. In addition, the Colfax & Northern Railway operated an interurban line to the town, which was abandoned in the early 20th Century.
