Oswego once had a pair of railroads, including a St. Louis-San Francisco Railway (Frisco) line and a Missouri-Kansas-Texas Railway mainline. Today, the Frisco is operated by the South Kansas & Oklahoma Railroad, while the MKT is operated by Union Pacific Railroad.
