Nora Springs once had a Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul & Pacific Railroad (Milwaukee Road) secondary line and a Chicago, Rock Island & Pacific Railroad (Rock Island) mainline. Today, the former Milwaukee Road is owned by CPKC, while the former Rock Island is owned by Canadian National Railway.
