New Berlin once had a Chicago & North Western Railway (C&NW) mainline and a mainline of The Milwaukee Electric Railway and Light Company (TMER&L). Today, the C&NW is operated as a Union Pacific Railroad industrial lead, while the TMER&L line is part of a trail.
