Logan Square is a community area in Chicago, located on the north side of the city. The Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul & Pacific Railroad (Milwaukee Road) operated mainlines along the west and south border of the community, and the Chicago & North Western Railway (C&NW) operated a mainline along the east border of the community. Today, the former Milwaukee Road mainline along the west border is owned by CPKC, while the former Milwaukee Road on the south border has become part of the 606 Trail. The former C&NW is owned by Union Pacific Railroad. In addition, the "L", an elevated rapid transit line, operates the Blue Line in the area.
