Humboldt Park is a community area in Chicago, located on the west side of the city. The Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul & Pacific Railroad (Milwaukee Road) operated a mainline diagonally through the community, and along the northern border of the community. In addition, the Chicago & North Western Railway (C&NW) operated a mainline along the south border of the community and a secondary line along the west border of the communuity. Today, the former Milwaukee Road is mostly owned by CPKC, while the former C&NW is owned by Union Pacific Railroad. West of Lawndale Avenue, the former Milwaukee Road has become part of the 606 Trail.
