Winneshiek County, Iowa

Winneshiek County is located in northern Iowa. It is named for the Chief of the Winnebago Tribe.
The seat and largest city is Decorah. The area is largely rural.
It is served by US-52, IA-9, IA-24, IA-139, and IA-150.
It is bordered by Allamakee, Fayette, Chickasaw, Howard and Clayton Counties in Iowa, as well as Fillmore and Houston Counties in Minnesota.
