A brief history of the Chicago & North Western Iowa Division mainline, now part of the Overland Route:

06/16/22

This standard I-Beam bridge crosses County Road S14 (3rd Street) on the north side of Nevada.
The bridge was built in 1936 by the Chicago & North Western. This likely replaced a grade crossing.
On this bridge, the substructures are constructed of concrete. The bridge has no decorative features, and is missing a plaque. This plaque may potentially be from Lakeside Bridge & Steel Company.

The author has ranked the bridge as being minimally significant, due to the common design.
The photo above is an overview. The bridge can be accessed from the road underneath.
