Schererville, Indiana

Schererville is a far eastern suburb of Chicago, near Gary.
The town had numerous railroads, most notably the Michigan Central, the Elgin, Joliet & Eastern, the Pennsylvania and the New York Central.
Today, only the Pennsylvania Line has been abandoned, and will be converted to trail use. The former NYC is a Norfolk Southern Mainline, and Canadian National owns the other two mainlines.
