Saunders County is a county located in eastern Nebraska, along the Platte River and southwest of Omaha. It is named for Alvin Saunders, a United States senator from Nebraska.
The largest city and the seat are both Wahoo.
Saunders county borders Douglas, Sarpy, Cass, Lancaster, Butler and Dodge Counties.
Main highways include I-80, US-6, US-75, NE-50 and NE-85.
