Monroe, Wisconsin

Monroe is a southern Wisconsin town, which had a pair of railroads. A Milwaukee Road branch went east and west; and the Illinois Central went north and south.

Today, east of Monroe, the MILW is the Wisconsin & Southern Railroad. West of Monroe, as well as the Illinois Central line are both trails.
