A brief history of the Minneapolis & St. Louis mainline from Minneapolis to Mason City:

06/26/21

This bridge is the third in the series of 12 bridges, and the eighth over Sand Creek.

This bridge is located near a dam on Sand Creek.
The bridge also sees much use from local kids, looking for fun.

The bridge has one good angle, and that is from a grassy area on the south end.

This bridge was built 1944, but the abutments are 1874.
The photo above is looking from the south bank.
