Herington, Kansas

Herington was a major railroad junction point in Central Kansas. The town originally had a Rock Island mainline and a branch line, as well as a Missouri Pacific mainline.
Today, the Rock Island mainline is owned by Union Pacific, while the branch line and Missouri Pacific have been abandoned.
