Douglas County, Nebraska

Douglas County is a county located in eastern Nebraska, along the Missouri River. It contains Nebraska's largest city; Omaha. It is named for Stephen A. Douglas, senator from Illinois.

The largest city and the seat are both Omaha. It borders Dodge, Washington, Sarpy and Saunders Counties in Nebraska; as well as Pottawattamie County in Iowa.

Main highways include I-80, I-480, I-680, US-6, US-75, US-275 and NE-92.
