Buda, Illinois

The Buda area of western Bureau County had three mainlines through it.
The Rock Island had a mainline connecting Chicago to Iowa. This line is now Iowa Interstate.
The Chicago, Burlington & Quincy had a line connecting Iowa to Chicago, now BNSF Railway.
In addition, the Chicago & North Western had a line from near Sterling to St. Louis, which is now Union Pacific.
