Becker County is a county in Northwest Minnesota. It was named for George Loomis Becker, an early mayor of St. Paul.
The seat and largest city is Detroit Lakes. This county is part of the Minnesota "Lakes Country", with 9% of the county being water.
It borders Mahnomen, Clearwater, Hubbard, Wadena, Otter Tail, Clay and Norman Counties.
Main highways include US-10, US-59, MN-34, MN-87 and MN-113.
