Ames, Iowa

Ames is a significant town in Central Iowa. In addition to having a pair of Chicago & North Western lines, it also had a small passenger railway serving Iowa State University.
Presently, the east/west mainline as well as the route north from Ames are owned by Union Pacific. The remaining routes have since been abandoned.
